Sosialisasi Perubahan Iklim untuk Pariwisata Berkelanjutan kepada Pelaku Wisata dan Wisatawan di Pulau Merah Banyuwangi
Abstract
Climate change is very pronounced and is starting to change all areas, especially the tourism industry. Tourism is directly affected by climate change. This makes tourism businesses and tourists have to adapt because climate change also changes tourist behavior. Changes in tourist behavior include the choice of tourist attractions and the behavior of choosing when to travel. The selection of accommodation and culinary options, which are part of a tourism journey, have also changed. The aim of this outreach is so that tourism business actors gain more knowledge about changes in tourist behavior and so that tourism business actors can formulate their best strategies to mitigate changes in tourist behavior. Socialization was carried out directly to tourism business actors on Pulau Merah Beach, Banyuwangi, such as managers of hotels, cafes, restaurants, and tourist attractions. After being given socialization, tourism business actors can adapt to climate change and implement it in the environment around their business. The results of this socialization have a follow-up plan to create a community messaging service.
